IVERSON!!!

I LOVE THE ALLEN IVERSON SIGNING!!! What's not to like? It's low risk, high reward situation. What's the worst that could happen? It blows up so bad they have to cut him and they stink all season. They are not good now. He could show the young players bad habits and hurt their development. Not buying that either. If Thad Young, Jrue Holiday, or Mo Speights have their development ruined by AI then they aren't the players I thought they were. Iggy was a young pro with AI his work habit is great. Also AI isn't a bad dude. He has some prima donna issues, but act like he is not the man. The rotation for the 2001 team was AI, Dikembe Mutumbo, Aaron McKie, Eric Snow, George Lynch, Tyrone Hill, Matt Geieger, Todd MacCulloch, Jumaine Jones, and Kevin Ollie. Yuck I know. The only other All-star, even once, was Mutumbo, who was a mid season acquisition to stop Shaq, which he couldn't do, so he was essentially Theo Ratliff. Yes, I know its not 2001, but AI continued to carry more rag tag groups, highlighted by a kneeless Chris Webber, Glen literally the Big Dog Robinson, Keith Van Horn, and others to the playoffs throughout his time here. Iverson was the Sixers. Last season seems more like a fluke than any other. Detroit was the worst team for Iverson and it was a wasted season. He averaged 17 in his worst season ever. He averaged in the mid twenties in points with Denver, down from the thirty plus he averaged his last three years in Philly. He will share with good team mates. I wouldn't pass it to Eric Snow, would you? The Sixers with Andre Miller last year were a playoff team that gave the Eastern Conference Champ Magic a scare in the first round. Iverson is a big upgrade to Miller. They are in a hole now, but I also think he will bring them into the playoffs and who knows what happens. At least people are talking about going to the Sixers. It might not be a huge deal, but I bet playing in front of a sold out arena is a lot easier than in a half full one.
