Everything should be set for the BCS later today, but if you watched the games yesterday you have to feel for Cincinnati and TCU. Cincinnati had a tremendous come from behind victory over Pittsburgh while TCU couldn't do anything but watch. Both teams were one second away from potentially playing Alabama in the National Championship.
One second was all it took for the Texas to steal a victory from Nebraska. If the Longhorns miss that field goal I guarantee you right now the only thing Sportscenter would be talking about is the atrocious clock management by Mack Brown. Brown almost pulled a Les Miles only Brown did have a timeout to use! He should be thanking the football gods right now, that was bad!
But it does set up Alabama vs Texas which should be very entertaining to watch. To different style teams. That is it for now here a few thoughts from yesterday:
- Ndasomethin Suh (Defensive Tackle from Nebraska) is the best player in college football and should get heisman votes, not win the Heisman but he should get invited to the Ceremony.
- He almost single handily beat Texas
- Mark Ingram should win the Heisman
- Is it bad that I don't feel sorry about Florida losing yesterday?
- Answer No
- Cincinnati earned their victory, coming back from 31-10, that may have been the best game all season.
- I wish the Big Ten would have a Championship game
- The Birds better not lose today, I gotta a weird feeling about this one, hopefully I'm wrong
- Irish Car Bombs and Sledding seems like a good idea, until you wake up the next morning
