Week 14 was not great but not terrible for either Big Fred or Punk Ass, but I was able to maintain my nine game lead heading down the home stretch. I have to say I could have gone 1-15 and would still be happy because the BIRDS pulled off a huge win in New York Sunday Night.
This is all that matters in the end, I can lose every game but as long as Philly keeps moving forward I will be ok. I have a few thoughts from everything that is occurring in the sports world, I will comment about the Halladay deal either later today or tomorrow once it is official, but for now I am staying away from that subject.
- Desean Jackson better make the pro bowl and should get a few MVP votes, if we didn't have him we would be below 500 no doubt.
- It is nice to see Michael Vick becoming a factor to the point where other teams are going to start to game plan against him.
- It was a good run Cliff Lee, you will be missed.
- The Sixers snapped their losing streak, now all they have to do is rip off ten more wins and they will back in the playoff picture.
- Was happy for Mark Ingram winning the Heisman, but after learning everything about Toby Gerhart, that may have changed my vote.
- Like I said I will comment on the Roy Halladay deal either later today or tomorrow
Here are the Updated Standings:
Big Fred 139-73
Punk Ass Paul 130-82
