Checkin In

Just wanted to check in before another Sunday filled with football, gonna be a late night with the Birds playing the night game. The main thing I take from the Sunday before Thanksgiving break is that if the Eagles do somehow find a way to lose, while I will be upset for a day or so I will survive knowing that I only have a two-day work week.

I took Wednesday off, and if Philly does lose I will only have to hear for maybe a day and a half about it at work. Tuesday afternoon I will be so far from work mentally it will be ridiculous. Oh well, hopefully Philly wins and it will start the week off right. Here are few thoughts I have gathered from the weekend:


- Ok I am not mad at Penn State anymore, I was worried about their game at Michigan State yesterday but the Nittany Lions came through and throttled the Spartans. Looks like they ll get either Ole Miss or LSU in a January 1 bowl game, not bad.


- Speaking of LSU, Les Miles really dropped the ball yesterday, I'm not talking about the last second play, I'm talking about the third down play were Jefferson got sacked and Miles let about 10 seconds go by before he called a timeout. LSU Fans have a right to be pissed about that one.


- Watched Ortiz vs Griffin 2 last night, wasn't a great fight but the two veterans did battle until the final bell. Personally I don't think either fighter deserves another title shot, but they both will be entertaining to watch from here on out.


- What a wild race for the Pac 10 title, it is nice to see USC not even in the picture.


- Roy Halladay would like good in Phillies Pin Stripes, that's all I'm saying


- Congrats to Penn Manor advancing to the District Semi-Finals for the first time in school history ( I think that's right) what a great season for the Comets.
