Just dropping before game 5 tonight, have to agree with Punk Ass that it is a bit nerve wracking to be a Phillies fan right now. What is really frustrating me this series so far is that Philadelphia has been leading in every game and could easily be up 3-0, Blanton has gotta deliver tonight.
I have to say the Birds looked very good today and definitely made a statement. The young talent is starting to mesh more with Mcnabb and it should be a showdown between them and Dallas. Desean Jackson is playing at an MVP level by the way.
Here are a few more thoughts for the day:
-Northwestern had every call go their way yesterday and they still couldn't keep up with Penn State.
-Gutsy call by Kubiak in benching Steve Slaton in favor for Ryan Moats but it definitely panned out. Houston actually won a game they were suppose to!
- Eli and the G-men are looking more and more like frauds every week.
- I hate Brett Favre and have more respect for the Green Bay fans for booing him.
- Miami needs to find ways to keep Ted Ginn involved more, I know he can't catch a cold but he may be the fastest man in the NFL.
- Gotta give it up to Oregon in thrashing of USC, what a turnaround since the Boise State loss that the Ducks have had.
- Cole Hamels needs to grow a set
