Pissed, but moving on

After watching the Birds fall to the Chargers, I have learned two things. One that San Diego is terrible defensively, Two Philly definitely has enough talent to make the playoffs. The Eagles once again did not wake up until the second half (typical Andy Reid team) and still were in the game until the final play.

This game really showed that Mcnabb has three reliable receivers and tight end that can get open on almost anybody. It is really going to hurt losing Westbrook, I know he is not the same runner he once was, but Lesean Mccoy does not have a clue on how to pick up the blitz. This is just one of the underrated qualities that Westbrook had throughout his brilliant career.

San Diego still has tremendous talent on offense, Phillip Rivers is a top ten quarterback. Defensively though they have a ton of issues, their front seven has abunch of names that don't make plays (Merriman, Cooper) and their secondary gives up a number of big plays.

Will see what happens with the Chargers, but I am certainly not a believer unlike I was in the pre-season.

Yes I was disappointed with the loss, but looking at the rest of the Birds schedule, I still feel confident about the playoffs. Maybe its just me being optimistic, but if people still think that at Atlanta and at Chicago are tough games, I really don't see it.

The rest of my day was up and down, I am fading fast in my picks, but the Bengals pulled off a huge road win over Pittsburgh. This win puts Cincy in the driver seat for their division and unless they pull a Denver Bronco, they should cruise into the playoffs. Check out their remaining schedule http://www.bengals.com/schedule/season-schedule.html.

My sport woes continued from last week, I am not even counting Penn State's win over Indiana. One bright spot has been the Temple Owls, who are currently in position to make a very good bowl game. Punk Ass and I are even this week in picks, for some reason he took Chicago, I will check in tomorrow, until then SCREW OFF!
