After the Phillies lost the series on Wednesday I was really banking on this weekend to cure my wounds. But it didn't get off to a good start after watching Penn State get rocked by Ohio State. I really thought that Penn State was finally starting to recruit top notch talent and was going to win this game by two touchdowns. I was so wrong.
The Buckeyes won every phase of the game and now control their destiny to another Big Ten Title and BCS Bowl Game. How embarrassing, you would think Penn State would have double teamed Heyward at some point yesterday, but with who? Every member of their offensive line was getting pushed around again! The receivers couldn't get off the football and the defense could not slow down Terrell Pryor.
As long as Tressell is there and Paterno is at PSU, Ohio State will continue to get the best talent. That was such a disappointing loss on so many levels. The only thing that can cure me now is that Philly beats Dallas tonight, that is my only HOPE!
A few more thoughts for the day:
- Bama vs Florida for the SEC TITLE Game, should be a dog fight
- Really Allen Iverson, Really? I remember when you played for the Sixers and I thought you were such a tough guy, now quite frankly you look like a female dog
- Michigan continues to falter losing again to Purdue, that helps my wounds a little
- I don't care who Fedor beats, come fight the big boys in the UFC then will talk
- If any idiot really thinks Lesnar is ducking Carwin, you obviously have never seen him in a interview or a fight. The man has mono, if you have never had mono before it is not fun. You don't want to get out of bed and you lose a ton of weight. Trust me when Lesnar is healthy he will fight Carwin and win
- Bengals vs Ravens today at 1 p.m. One word- SWEET
- Never bet on Pac-10 games
- I may be jumping on the Bearcats bandwagon very soon, stay tuned
