Week 8 Picks

Tough loss for the Phils tonight. Cole Hamels needs to get tough. Any little bloop or call that goes against him can turn what was a dominant game into another meltdown. He's so talented and its a shame to let his head block his stuff. Suddenly a huge game looms tomorrow with CC facing Joe Blanton. I'm a little nervous. A win tomorrow is almost a must. I don't think the Yankees lost three games in a row more then once possibly all season. Plus with Cliff Lee pitching Game 5 a win sets them up with a chance to go back to NY and needing only to win one of two to win the title. Well onto the picks....

Texans over Bills (I was tempted to go with the Bills upset cause of the cold and the Texans being a dome team, but I think the Texans are much better.)

Bears over Browns (Cutler has been inconsistent, but the Browns stink.

Cowboys over Seahawks (Miles Austin has made Tony Romo and the entire Cowboys offense look a lot better the last two weeks.)

Lions over Rams (The home team in Yuck Bowl 2009 has the edge in this epic battle.)

Colts over 49ers (Colts are too good.)

Dolphins over Jets (The Dolphins seem to have the Jets number.)

Eagles over Giants (Both teams are bit of frauds, but I think Eli is starting to show his real colors against solid or better defenses and the Eagles defense is for real.)

Broncos over Ravens (The Ravens have lost some close games this year. The Broncos have won some close games. I see Denver winning a nail biter.)

What were you smoking pick of the week?
Titans over Jaguars (Vince Young has an ugly game but he'll make the plays to win it for his team.)

Chargers over Raiders (Rivers will have a big game.)

Cardinals over Panthers (Cardinals are legit in the NFC.)

Vikings over Packers (Whats changed in the last few weeks that will help the Packers stop Jared Allen.)

Falcons over Saints (Atlanta needs this to keep the division close.)
