Gearin Up

Gearing up for another weekend of football and since the Birds have a Bye, I have a few thoughts on some big games this weekend:

- West Virginia definitely has enough talent to win the Big East, but they lack the discipline. Noel Devine and company still have the speed to compete with anybody in the NCAA but just watching them play last night, don't be suprised if they end up lower tier Bowl Game.


- USC vs Cal should be a good game, just kidding I bet USC trounces them. My question is did USC lose early enough this season that it won't screw up their National Title aspirations?


- Even though Im still pissed about last week, I see PSU bouncing back on the road against Illinois, if they don't I see them losing at least 5 games this season.


- Sam Bradford is not playing against Miami tomorrow, the U needs to come back after laying an egg last week.


- Is the LSU vs Georgia game a battle for who is second best in the SEC?


- Im convinced that Michael Crabtree has the same advisors that Sarah Palin has, what else can explain him not being in camp. It's not like the 49ers are Detroit or Cleveland, they are a good young team with a Coach that would be perfect for him.


- I hope Aj Hawk knocks out Brett Favre, what did I say that out loud?


- You think Mike Holmgren has bought a house in DC yet? Probably not, but if the Skins lose to Tampa Bay I know my roomates will let him stay with us.
