Ok, I understand that Oakland played their best game since the won the AFC Championship game back in 2003, but are you kidding me with that performance Philly? This may have been the worst loss in the Andy Reid. A typical Reid team that does not get up for inferior opponents and today it bit them in the ass.
The Eagles played like pure crap on both sides of the football today and quite frankly showed their true colors. This team does not play well in close games, they could be playing Cheyney and they find a way to keep it close. This was such a pathetic performance and such a bad loss that I don't even want to talk about anymore.
I would like to hope that maybe this stopped the talk of Reid getting a contract extension. Basically if you give him a contract extension, Eagles fans will have to endure several more years of heartbreak and bitterness. The Eagles will always get us excited, but then find a way to screw it up.
It may be that time the Birds changed the direction of this team. Reid, Mcnabb, Akers it was a good run, but this trio will never win a superbowl. I hate saying this but it is time for a change.
