In what has been a very good weekend so far, I wanted to throw in a few thoughts before today got started:
- Florida beat LSU, with Tebow playing maybe at 70%, what is most impressive about this victory is that it was at LSU and I don't believe the Tigers got across the 50 yard line in the second half.
- Hopefully Alabama and Florida don't have any slip ups so they can play each other in the SEC Championship Game. Alabama looks damn good if you saw them yesterday, that could be a classic matchup.
- Penn State improved to 5-1, does anybody notice that the Nittany Lions biggest win so far is against Temple? Should be a good game next week against Minnesota
-Iowa is the best team in the BIG TEN until proven otherwise.
- I am not sure if I understand Charlie Manuel's decision to start J.A. Happ today instead of Pedro. Happ may not be 100% and you got a guy in Pedro who lives for these moments, hopefully it works out.
- Gotta give it up for USA Soccer for qualifying for the World Cup, now hopefully they can advance to the second round this time around.
- Ryan Mallet, qb out of Arkansas may have the most NFL potential in the entire league and that is saying something.
- If the Eagles can stop the run and play mistake free on offense, I don't not see today's game being close.
That is it for now will check in later, depending on how the picks go I may even post the CLIP OF THE DAY.
