Cliff Lee was spectacular last night, it was a great way to start out the Series. Hopefully Pedro picks up where he left off in LA and we can go up 2-0 heading back to Philly. I am back for another installment of the weekly picks, we are inching closer to the half way point of the season and in the next couple of weeks we will find out who is for real and who will be playing golf come January. Let's get this started:
Baltimore over Denver ( Both teams are coming off a bye, the Ravens need this win at home to keep pace with Cincy and Pittsburgh)
Chicago over Cleveland ( Lovie Smith's seat is getting hotter, who would have thought at this point in the season that Kyle Orton would be more productive than Jay Cutler)
Dallas over Seattle ( Hate to say this but it appears that the Cowgirls have finally figured it out, Miles Austin is emerging into a top flight receiver and Romo is playing with more confidence, I really hope by saying this I am jinxing Dallas)
New York Jets over Miami ( Rex Ryan won't let the Wildcat beat him twice)
Indy over San Francisco ( Alex Smith came off bench and played well last week, only problem was that it was against the Texans and not Indy)
Philly over New York Giants ( Leave me alone)
Detroit over St.Louis ( Break up the Lions this win will double their total from last season)
San Diego over Oakland ( Note to self, never ever ever ever pick the Raiders as my what were you smokin pick AGAIN!)
Tennesse over Jacksonville ( The Titans with Vince Young at the helm get their first victory of the season)
Green Bay over Minnesota ( Favre will show his true colors and throw several interceptions)
Arizona over Carolina ( What a statement the Cardinals made last week on the road against the Gmen, did I mention that the Panthers still have Jake Delhome as their starting quarterback)
New Orleans over Atlanta ( I really have a hard time trying to hate Drew Brees like I do with most any other opponent but dammit he is awesome and their comeback win over Miami was very impressive)
What were you smokin pick of the week:
Buffalo over Houston ( Houston on the road in the cold, the Bills are on a winning streak, yea it still doesn't add up but this is why it's my Smokin PICK OF THE WEEK)
There you have another edition of the Picks here are the updated standings:
Big Fred: 69-34
Punk Ass Paul: 65-38
