Another night, another Phillies victory, this game had Pitching, Fielding and Hitting all in all a great night for the Phils. Joe Blanton continued what has been a solid season for him, and the Fightins got tremendous clutch hitting and fielding from Jayson Werth and tremendous base running by Chase Utley.
Another victory leading Philly one game closer to another division title, yep another typical good night for the Phillies.
Few more observations from the day:
- The Phillies havd sold out 65 out of 74 home games this year, considering the effect the economy has had on game attendance across the country this is might impressive.
- Jayson Werth is another prime example of the effect Charlie Manuel has had on this club. He definitely gets the most out of Werth.
- Bad ass game tomorrow night, Georgia Tech vs Miami, what a start to the weekend
