More Notes from Week 1

Both Monday night games were very entertaining to start off the season, here a few notes that I have observed now that week one is complete:

- After his performance on Sunday, Sheldon Brown can keep playing with a chip on his shoulder, this is exactly what Lito Sheppard should have done last year but he was too busy being disgruntled. I never understand that, if you are looking for a new contract instead of bitching why don't you just go out and play your ass off.

- The Raiders with two good defensive ends (Ellis and Seymore) and a shut down corner may end up with a Top 10 defense by the end of this season.

- Too bad nobody on the Raiders D can throw, Jamarcus Russell is looking more and more like a bust, so why did they cut Garcia, who knows?

- Over Under in which week T.O losses his mind and tries to start a new reality show. Maybe his next one won't get cancelled either. I say Week 4, but if Buffalo keeps having losses like last night, it may be even sooner.

- Good Call in Signing Jeff Garcia, my question is how long until the Eagles front office will admit that the Kevin Kolb draft was the worst draft pick EVER!!!!

That is it for now check out the Clips from Yesterday, RIP Patrick Swayze, (Point Break Best Movie of all time)

  1. You didnt really comment on the Pats and how good they are ...kiddin. I have to say I wasnt impressed with the coaching last night. Excellent effort by the players but Bill B. has to get these coaches to be more creative the Pats plays were predictable and thats why they almost lost last night. On the other hand I have to give Bufflao credit, they wanted that game and they would have one if it wasnt for that bonehead not taking the touchback. Im a die hard PATS fan but im a realist. If we play like that for the rest of the season we are gonna get our asses handed to us outside of AFC EAST. I truly beleive Bill wuill get
things in order. Has Bill ever fired a coach?

I dont know what do you think ?

    Signing off,

    PATS NATION

  2. I do not believe that Belichick has ever fired anybody of hig importance (i.e. Offensive or Defensive Coordinator) I think New England will be fine, as long as he is in charge. As much as I hate New England I respect Belichick because he took a kid who hadn't started a game at quarterback since High School and he guided them to an 11 and 5 season last year. Belichick is a winner, no matter who he has in place he will always get the best out of who he has.

New England could be in a little trouble defensively with all of the leadership gone, but with Brady continuing to get better game by game and Randy Moss playing like Randy Moss, they should still win their division.

Keep in mind it is only one game and nobody in the AFC outside of the Steelers and Titans looked that impressive this past week.
