You know I almost got on this morning to blog about how pissed off I was at the Penn State Loss Last night, but I gotta say today has really made me forget about it. It all began with DA BIRDS looking damn good in their win over the Cheifs. It certainly helped that Kansas City is absolutely awful, but whatever I will take it.
I really like this young core of talent Philly is starting to ensemble. Desean Jackson is getting closer and closer to becoming a Top Ten Receiver and Lesean Mccoy looks like Westbrook did when he was younger. I gotta say I feel pretty good about the Birds future, regadless if it's with Donovan or not. It is a nice win for the Eagles and now they get to go into the bye week 2-1 and hopefully they can get healthy.
To keep on to my point, the day has been awesome, Philly won, I only have three losses in "THE PICKS" this week and DA BENGALS pulled off a huge victory. Gotta love getting the What Were you Smokin Pick right when the last 2 have failed.
It has been a great day, and if Penn State continues to play like they did last night, you will see a lot more NFL blogs then College Football, sorry diehards. Here are a few more notes from the day:
- Not sure how much if at all Vick will be a factor for the Birds this year.
- I knew Houston would find a to way to lose that game
- Urban Meyer's arrogance got the best of him last nite
- Chad Henne standout PA product was less than stellar in relief of Pennington today
- Gotta give F*** Face Favre his due today, that touchdown pass was awesome
- Another week almost in the books and the Ravens still look like the Best team in the NFL
- I refuse to talk about the Penn State game, it will just piss me off too much
