In what was another great day of college football, here are few observations that I have taken in from yesterday:
- Terrelle Pryor is grossly overrated, I understand USC defense is good, but the final drive just showed how overrated he really is.
- Michigan may give Penn State more trouble for the Big Ten Title then OSU. Michigan looked mighty impressive at home against Notre Dame, it appears as though Rodriguez's system is starting to mesh with his players. Penn State has not won at Michigan in quite some time, that game may be for the Big Ten Title later this year.
- Florida is way too good to be playing teams like Troy, why does Urban Meyer who is suppose to be a bad ass, schedule games like Oklahoma State i.e. like Mark Richt did. I hope somebody in SEC can take them down, but I highly doubt it.
- The Phillies still have bullpen issues. another game and another wasted opportunity by the bullpen. It doesn't even matter who is closing for the Phils right now, nobody in the Bullpen ( with the exception of Chan Ho Park) has consistently gotten the job done this season. This is a major concern for me heading into the postseason. (Assuming we get there)
I will close with the game I was in attendance at last night. Maryland versus James Madison was a far better game than anybody in that stadium could have hoped for. Maryland was exposed defensively and James Madison could not cash in on some golden opportunities. It was one of the better college games that I have ever been too, which does not bold well for Maryland considering that James Madison is division 1AA!!! It was a great time, even though Maryland may win 4 games this year, at least I can say I was in attendance for one of them.
That is it for today, Lets GO EAGLES!!!!
