Trotter is Back in the Nest

A team source has confirmed that Jeremiah Trotter has signed a one year deal to return to the Philadelphia Eagles. If this is indeed true, I must say I am very happy about this move. I don't care if he doesn't play a down, he is a valuable leader that the Eagles lost when Brian Dawkins departed to Denver this offseason. I do not want to get ahead of myself but I feel this could turn out to be a underrated move that will really benefit the Birds.

Going into the bye week Philly is pretty banged up, now you get to rest your stars for another week, give Trotter time to get back in playing shape and continue on developing the young talent. Maybe this move will work out maybe it won't, but right now Philly fans should be pleased with Trotter coming back to where he belongs!

A few more notes and the CLIP OF THE DAY:

- Hopefully the Phillies don't pull a New York Mets this last week of the season, Happ has gotta stop the bleeding tonight.

- Why are people hating on the Sixers? With a Healthy Elton Brand this should easily be a playoff team with home court advantage.

- Still don't want to talk about Penn State

- Only the Raiders would have a Head Coach breaking one of his assistant's jaws, losers.

- What is going on with Delonte West, it was reported today that he didn't show up for Camp?

  1. Sooo do you think with the addition of trotter the eagles will have a renewed force in the middle? and how well do you think hes gonna fit into sean's scheme?

  2. I am not sure if he will be a renewed force in the middle, but he will definitely be a much needed leader that this defense lacks. And that Penn State game did not go too well for me by the way, kind of like how THE U got smoked by the Hokies.
